Sol y Tierra’s logo is a symbol of the Sun and Mother Earth. They are both interconnected and the source of all life. We cannot exist, without the two. Indigenous traditional medicine, honors the earth, the sun and all natural elements. The sun provides heat and light needed for the earth to nourish us with water, oxygen and plants (food and medicine). The sun is beneficial to our physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing. Mother Earth is made of 3 layers and that connection is honored with the mind, body and spirt. Earth is a powerful energy source which sustains us, ground us and is the foundation of life.

My Afro Indigenous and holistic roots inspired me to study massage therapy at Pacific College of Health and Sciences, a Traditional Chinese Medicine school. I am passionate about massage therapy, traditional medicine and healing with sound. I want to contribute to helping people feel better through a holistic approach. I am excited to introduce a fusion of western, eastern and rooted traditional medicine.
